There's no denial that the kind of love that comes from family can be one found as one of the purest. I can admit for a fact that my fondest memories can trace back to my early childhood with my family. Having no siblings growing up my cousins were the closest thing to it and I always looked forward to any upcoming party. Sure, we all have our vices, but that's the fact of unconditional love: regardless of the flaws we note in one another, there's little to no use in holding it against each other and we learn to live past it.
Anyway, over the past weekend we hosted a little farewell party for one of my closest cousins, Justin. As he leaves for basic training in the Air Force, it's such a bittersweet feeling to see him go. Growing up the two of us were always tight and I really still see him as I did over ten years ago when we were still young. I simply just can't put into words the type of love I have for him, and I have a tremendous amount of pride for what he is and will continue to accomplish.
The man of the hour.
Twerk team.
You take care man, and best know that you have a loving family just waiting for you to come home soon.
